In 2019, I was eager for a new challenge. After spending five years at an advertising agency and three years working on brand-side social media, I noticed a gap in the social media marketing landscape and set out to address it.
As I built and scaled a team, I repeatedly faced the challenge of resource management. With full-time staff, it was difficult to be agile and responsive to client needs, which limited our capacity to offer innovative solutions. This led me to explore the world of freelancers and the opportunities they presented.
I’ve come to believe that a blend of full-time and independent contractors is the optimal solution for marketing. Freelancers allow you to scale efficiently, access diverse talent, and provide fresh perspectives that can invigorate a team.
The past three years have been the challenge I sought. The first year focused on creating systems and expanding the client roster, while the second year revolved around scaling and team growth. In the third year, we’ve honed our processes and looked towards the future.
As the work landscape has rapidly evolved, so has our business. Initially, I saw the gap in the social media market, but soon realized that there was an even larger gap in the digital marketing space.
Same problem, broader industry. And we’re here to tackle that next challenge.
